This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Zoogol collects, how we use it and the choices you have. It applies to the Zoogol website, apps and services.

1. Information we collect

Account details — name, email address, mobile number, password (stored only as a secure hash), profile photo and the referral code you joined with.
Network information — who referred you and the members in your referral chain, which we need to calculate partner commissions.
Purchase and reward information — in-store purchases confirmed through QR codes, online deal clicks and the orders our affiliate partners report, and the cashback, commissions, wallet balances and withdrawals connected to them.
Payment details — the bank account or UPI details you provide for withdrawals.
Merchant verification documents — for merchants, business, tax and bank documents submitted for KYC.
Technical information — IP address, device and browser type, approximate location derived from your IP address, referring page, and the date and time of visits and clicks. We use this to track deal clicks, prevent fraud and keep the service secure.
Messages — what you send us through the contact form or support channels.

2. How we use your information

To create and secure your account, including verifying your phone number.
To record purchases, match online orders to your clicks, and calculate, hold, release and pay cashback and commissions.
To process withdrawals and merchant payments and to keep financial records.
To verify merchants and keep the marketplace trustworthy.
To detect and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents.
To send you service messages, such as notifications about your purchases, rewards and account, and to answer your questions.
To understand how Zoogol is used and improve it.

3. When we share information

Merchants receive the details needed to confirm and honour your in-store purchases.
Affiliate networks and brands receive a tracking ID when you follow an online deal so that your order can be reported back to us.
Members of your referral chain can see limited information about the people they referred, such as names, email addresses and join dates.
Service providers that host and operate Zoogol for us (for example hosting, SMS verification, email delivery and bot protection) process data on our behalf.
Legal reasons — where required by law or to protect the rights, safety and property of Zoogol and its users.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to protect forms against misuse. When bot protection (Google reCAPTCHA) is enabled, Google's Privacy Policy and Terms also apply.

5. How long we keep information

We keep your information while your account is active and afterwards only as long as needed for the purposes above, including resolving disputes, preventing fraud and meeting legal, tax and accounting obligations for financial records.

6. Security

We protect your information with measures such as encrypted connections, hashed passwords, access controls and encrypted storage of sensitive settings. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your password private and tell us if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

7. Your choices and rights

You can review and update your profile information in your account settings.
You can delete your account from your account settings. Some records, such as completed financial transactions, may be retained where the law requires.
You can contact us to ask about the information we hold about you or to raise a privacy concern.

8. Children

Zoogol is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new "Last updated" date and, where changes are significant, notify you in the app.
